March 2023 photodump

I keep thinking I don't take that many photos—or rather, that I take a lot of rubbish ones and then only share the good ones (on Instagram, etc.) But let's give myself some accountability to post on here, too. From now on, at the end of each month, I'm going to try and share my favourite photos. No maximum or minimum, and I may hold some back for a more themed post (there'll be one on blossom season, for instance) but here we go with my favourite photos from March.

A pink blossom tree in the wind emerges behind a tall solid wooden fence that's painted a faded blue.
I like this one in particular. Shot on Portra 800, developed and scanned by Rapid Eye
A tall apartment building with wavy glass balconies that form crenellations, each being different on different floors.
I took this whilst on a moving bicycle, believe it or not—so I couldn't really compose it, but I like the way it came out anyway. Shot on Portra 800, developed and scanned by Rapid Eye
A rainy bus station. A red double-decker bus (the 241 for Royal Wharf) is boarding. Three neon strip lights reflect into the windscreen.
Stratford City bus station isn't much to look at, but I like the sinuous reflection of the fake-neon light strips in the bus windscreen vs. the abandoned bike wrapped in "CAUTION" tape. Shot on UltraMax 400, developed and scanned by Rapid Eye
A market stall with a long table with red tablecloth, seen from behind. Lots of open boxes of Turkish delight/lokum in various colours line the table, along with olives and various other produce.
I was told by a friend that this lokum stand was dangerous because it's easy to spend a lot. Reader, she was right. (It did not last that long, but I have no regrets.) Shot on Portra 800, developed and scanned by Rapid Eye
