We've had a brief blast of summer, and a cacophonous wisteria season—but now we're in the zone when it's pot luck whether 'partly cloudy' means 'small fluffs of silver in a crystal-blue sky with the sun burning down on your face,' or 'a thick, chilly blanket of stratus clouds.' I've been out a fair bit regardless, and that's given me plenty of material for May's photodump (a few days late, alas.) You can also see April's photodump here, and find all the photo dumps here.

Wisteria season was all too short, but spectacularly abundant.

Looking east from Tower Bridge over the River Thames, we see people walking right to left in frame over the opposite walkway (between pedestrian guardrail painted pale blue and a thick, ornate balustrade painted dark blue and white with a wooden top.) In the distance, a block of apartments has caught the light of the setting sun shining a thin strip of orange reflection.
